Most online tools are built to model common scenarios. That can be helpful for brainstorming, but it can also be misleading in burn claims because the biggest expenses often arrive later.
In Michigan, two things frequently impact how burn cases develop:
- Pursuing treatment and documenting progression. Burns can deepen, and symptoms like hypersensitivity, reduced range of motion, or scar changes may show up after the initial incident.
- Timing and insurance strategy. Insurers often want a statement early and may try to treat a claim as “resolved” before long-term care is clear.
A tool can’t review photos from your follow-up visits, interpret operative reports, or connect your specific injury pattern to the incident. That means an AI output may be too low (if it misses future scar care or therapy) or too high (if it assumes severity that your records don’t support).
