AI tools generally work by asking you for inputs (burn type, treatment received, time missed from work) and then producing a range based on averages. That can be helpful for organizing your thoughts—but it often misses what insurance adjusters care about most:
- Whether your medical records document the burn depth and progression
- How long treatment actually lasted (and whether it continues)
- Functional impact (how the injury affected gripping, walking, sleeping, or performing job tasks)
- Prognosis—what your doctors expect may still be needed
If your case involves scarring that worsens, hypersensitivity, or limited range of motion, the “average” may not match your medical reality.
