Many online tools produce ranges using common injury patterns. That can be useful, but it often misses the factors that matter most in real burn cases, such as:
- Treatment timing: Florida insurers frequently question whether delays affected severity.
- Functional impact: Burns that limit hand use, walking, or driving safety can affect jobs that require commuting.
- Complications that emerge later: infection risk, hypertrophic scarring, and nerve pain may not be obvious at first.
- Evidence completeness: photographs, ER records, and follow-up notes are critical when adjusters attempt to minimize causation.
In other words, the tool can’t review your medical record, confirm the burn depth, or predict how your skin and nerves will respond over time.
