Burn claims are highly variable. The same word—“burn”—can describe everything from minor scalding to injuries that require grafting, multiple surgeries, and long-term scar management.
In Adelanto, we commonly see factors that make automated estimates especially unreliable:
- Hard-working schedules and commute pressure: Many people try to return to work quickly after a burn, then discover later that pain, hypersensitivity, and limited range of motion prevent full duties.
- Industrial and construction exposure: Burns from hot surfaces, electrical hazards, steam, or chemicals may involve workplace safety documentation and training records that tools can’t access.
- Residential heating and appliance risks: Accidents involving water heaters, space heaters, grills, and malfunctioning equipment can create disputes over maintenance and warnings.
A calculator can’t review photos of the burn over time, operative reports, or medical opinions about whether the injury pattern matches the incident described.
