Many fracture injuries in our area happen in predictable places and patterns:
- Commuter traffic and intersection crashes near major corridors, where impacts can cause wrist, ankle, or leg fractures.
- Residential and retail slip-and-fall situations—especially after snowmelt/ice cycles—leading to hip fractures and other serious breaks.
- Industrial and warehouse work where safety rules, equipment maintenance, and training matter; a fall from height or improper handling can result in fractures that require surgery.
- Construction and property maintenance disputes, where “we thought it was fine” becomes the insurer’s position once imaging shows a serious injury.
In these situations, insurers often move quickly to limit payouts. They may argue the injury is unrelated, claim it’s pre-existing, or focus on early medical impressions rather than the full course of treatment.
