Broken bones can be obvious in the ER, but they’re not always “obvious” on paper. In Zion, claims commonly hinge on details such as:
- Timing: how soon after the incident you were examined and whether imaging confirms the mechanism of injury.
- Scene documentation: whether there are photos, witness observations, or traffic/pedestrian reports.
- Conflicting stories: especially in fast-moving crash situations near busy corridors or when a pedestrian is involved.
Insurers may argue the fracture was unrelated, delayed, or caused by a prior condition. That’s why the early days after your injury matter so much.
