While every crash is different, many local cases share patterns:
- Left-turn and yield failures at intersections and driveway cut-throughs (especially when visibility is limited by landscaping, parked vehicles, or hills).
- Dooring or sudden lane intrusions involving vehicles stopped along the curb near residential streets.
- Construction and roadwork detours that change lane layouts, shift bike routes, or leave unclear signage.
- Late-day light issues—dusk rides and early morning commutes where glare makes it harder for drivers to spot cyclists.
- Fast-moving through roads where drivers may underestimate a cyclist’s speed or believe there’s “enough space.”
When you’re injured, the details matter: exact location, timing, traffic controls, and what the driver could reasonably see.
